Stories of Notable African Americans at Washington National Cathedral

Monday, January 20, 2020 | 2:30pm

Celebrate notable African Americans who have made significant contributions in theology, human rights, social justice, civil rights, education, and the welfare of other human beings.

While walking through the Cathedral, experience sculptures, stain glass windows, and needlepoint highlighting achievements of African American trailblazers. We visit the nave (main) level and crypt (lower level).
