Community Coat Drive for Afghan Refugees

Sunday, October 31, 2021 | 10:30am

The Cathedral Close community is partnering with Immigrant and Refugee Outreach Center (IROC) to support refugee families in our area through a winter clothing drive to collect new and gently used winter coats, hats, gloves, snow pants, and snow boots in all sizes, but especially children and youth sizes. On Sunday, October 31, you can drop off items in bins at the Lincoln Statue in the West End of the Cathedral (where non-perishable food items could be donated pre-COVID) before or immediately following the 11:15 a.m. service. Through October 29, you can also drop off your donations in bins located outside St. Alban’s Lower School or Upper. Let’s help our new neighbors prepare for the winter season!

IROC was founded by Ariana Lotfi, NCS ’21, to deliver support, education, and outreach to local immigrant and refugee families.
