Claiming our Voices—Claiming our Truths

Thursday, November 1, 2018 | 6:15pm

This November, all are invited to join Canon Vicar Dana Corsello for a month-long series exploring and claiming the stories that women hold in their bodies, their voices, and their souls.

Through our own shared stories, we will see how we are blessed in our brokenness (as Jesus tells us each time we share Holy Communion). We will experience power, truth—the kind of fundamental truth that, once revealed, we will realize was always present—and, ultimately, healing.

Come and be fed; come and be empowered; come and be healed.

A gathering for fellowship over wine/sparkling beverages and dinner precedes the presentations on November 1, 8 and 15. You are welcome to attend either the dinner or the presentation or both. Dinner is $12; the presentations are free. Please register using the RSVP form. The November 30 event requires a separate ticket (no dinner that week).

Thursday, Nov. 1 (Bethlehem Chapel)

6:15: Gathering and Dinner
7:00: “Finding Your Voice after Spiritual Trauma” with Julie Rodgers and Larycia Hawkins, PhD

Rodgers and Hawkins will discuss their healing processes and discoveries of their beloved “true selves” after leaving toxic faith communities.
