Cathedral Day Organ Recital and Demonstration

Cathedral Organist Thomas Sheehan plays an organ recital program of pieces that highlight the unique capabilities of the Great Organ, featuring works of Richard Wayne Dirksen, Mark Fax, Brenda Portman and Hans Friedrich Micheelsen.

There will also be a short demonstration and discussion of the history of the Cathedral's organ, along with a  tour of some of its hallmark sounds. The Cathedral's organ is a landmark of American organ building, and this program will show exactly why!
