20s&30s Summer Bible Study – Overlooked in the Bible: A Survey of Unsung Heroes and Heroines
Dear members of the 20s and 30s Group,
We are excited to invite you to a summer Bible study over the next 8 weeks. Inspired by Bishop Barber’s point that “the rejected stones make the best corner stones” we are eager to explore some of the forgotten and overlooked stories throughout scripture. We hope to learn from fascinating characters like Ruth, Naomi, Hagar, Barnabas, Esther and even a servant whose name wasn’t recorded in the book of Kings. We’ll meet according to the schedule below, gathering at 6 pm for fellowship. This series is called, “Overlooked in the Bible: A Survey of Unsung Heroes and Heroines.”
Judging from the fun we’ve had putting this series together, it promises to be a joyful and inspiring time as we study God’s word together. You are invited to RSVP here.
Please RSVP with your name and email. You do not have to attend every session. Come as you can! The schedule of stories and the text to read each week is located below.
Food will be provided, with a suggested $10 donation. All are welcome!
Sincerely,
Randy, Jan, Dana, Leonard, Rose and Andy
