Cathedral 20s & 30s is a welcoming place for young adults to foster deeper relationships and create community.
Monthly activities include the signature “Evensong & Evensocial” and the “Ultimate Sunday Brunch.” We also engage in community service projects, social events, spiritual development, and opportunities for liturgical participation throughout the year.
In addition to monthly Sunday Evensong and Evensocial, many members worship together at the weekly 11:15 am Sunday service. Look for us at coffee hour afterwards—we look forward to welcoming you!
Evensong and Evensocial
One Sunday per month, the 20s & 30s group hosts Evensong and Evensocial for young adults and young professionals (or those who just feel young at heart). The evening begins with the Cathedral’s 4 pm Choral Evensong and is followed by a fellowship reception.
Evensong and Evensocial brings young adults together with other members of the cathedral community for contemplation and prayer, discussions of faith, and mutual sharing of issues that affect our communal life. All are welcome, regardless of background or faith tradition.
The 20s & 30s group participates in the many service and social justice ministries of the Cathedral, including:
- Martha’s Table
- Serving at a local food bank
- Thanksgiving Basket and Advent Giving Tree collection drives
- Working with the Transitional Housing Corporation’s Adopt-An-Apartment Program
Spirituality and Fellowship
Members of the 20s & 30s Group grow in their faith and learn how to live Christian lives in community through worship, educational offerings, authentic and probing conversations, and relationship-building. Whether you are a life-long Christian, inquirer, skeptical seeker, or somewhere in between, you are invited to join in this faith journey through fellowship activities such as:
- Courses and Book Discussions
- Spiritual Retreats
- Hiking and Camping
- Basketball, Baseball, Soccer, and Tennis
