The Center for Prayer and Pilgrimage is a space for all

  • A sacred space, welcoming anyone seeking sanctuary and silence
  • A teaching space, offering opportunities to learn about contemplative practices through ongoing programs and special events
  • A nurturing space, helping people transform themselves and the world

Open Hours

The Center for Prayer and Pilgrimage (CCPP) is operated by a small but committed community of volunteers who open the doors and welcome visitors. Visiting hours for the week are posted on our Facebook page on Monday mornings, and also available to view below in our Facebook feed. There is no Cathedral entry fee for worship and private prayer, including visitors to CCPP.

Interested in being a CCPP volunteer? Learn more about volunteering at the Cathedral and apply, or email us for more information.

Spring Series and Workshops

Hope: A User's Manual

5-Week Online Book Study

In a time when our world seems fractured by gloom and doom that dominate the headlines, how can we realistically practice hope? Join us online Wednesday evenings in May as we engage in thoughtful reflection and conversation to help cultivate resilient hope in our lives.

Out of the Flowers: A Haiku Writing Workshop

In-Person Workshop (space is limited)

On May 18, be inspired by the words of haiku writers throughout the ages. Engage your own experience through simple writing exercises rooted in the spring landscape of the Cathedral grounds and gardens. Come listen, learn and write with a community of kindred spirits.

Finding Hope in Poetry and Nature

Online Workshop

On May 19, join us for an online workshop exploring the practice of Eco Divina, the close observation of the world around us. Learn how poets have been inspired to find hope in the landscape around them and discover the seeds of hope your own surroundings may be offering you this season.
