What So Proudly We Hailed: Michele Fowlin Sings at Nats Park

You've seen her on Sunday mornings, but did you catch Michele Fowlin singing the National Anthem at Nats Park?

Michele, our associate director of music for contemporary worship, has made her mark as a sought-after soprano all across town, with a particular skill at singing The Star-Spangled Banner — which any musician will tell you is no easy feat.

Especially when it’s a capella. 

And especially when several thousand baseball fans are watching.

This was at least the second time this season that Michele has kicked off a game for the Washington Nationals, and that’s not counting her singing for the Congressional Women’s Softball Game at Audi Field.
