NBC4's Tommy McFly has tried his hand at everything from BMX racing to Olympic fencing. But does he have what it takes to become a Cathedral stone mason?

Let’s just say Head Stone Mason Joe Alonso says his young protege needs a little practice:

“The Cathedral got broke 14 years ago during the earthquake. And now it got broke again by Tommy.”

Watch Tommy climb the scaffolding to try his hand at earthquake repairs alongside Joe and stone mason Brianna Castelli. At least he remembered to wear his hard hat.
