Throughout the pilgrimage, participants were invited to note each day what they were praising. As we prepare to return home, here is how one pilgrim described it.

Praise

Praise for the white clouds in the blue sky

Praise for the sheep on the hillsides at rest

Praise for the forest pines and for the wildflowers

Praise for the low tide, the sun and the sea

Praise for the walking shoes and then for the slippers

Praise for the foggy mist encouraging reflection

Praise for the baby lambs and the gnarled trees

Praise for the playgrounds and the red painted dragons

Praise for the vastness, the fences, the hedges

Praise for the fish and the chips, the soup and the bread

Praise for the potters, the bakers, the drivers

Praise for the hay bales, the caravans, the crosses

Praise for the new friends made along our way

Praise for God’s glory on this very day
