Where is my hope?
O, Lord, my hope is in you.
For I am but a sojourner with you.
You heard the voice of my prayer.
You took me from following the flock and said “Go.”
You speak to me by the Spirit and give from Your river of delights.
In this season of expectant waiting, we reflect on what we have done, what we will no longer do and will do in the days ahead. Through it all our hearts trust in the Lord, hoping that through His light will we see light.
Lord, you command us to love You with all our heart, soul and mind. You command us to love our neighbor as ourselves. You command us to love. May our hope be renewed through our Redeemer’s love in ourselves and our neighbors. Amen.
