Hospitality The residential conference center of the Cathedral College on the grounds of Washington National Cathedral welcomes all those who seek a place for renewal, new perspectives, to gather for meetings and conferences, Cathedral- and schools-related visits, community retreats, or private times of study and prayer. Built in the 1920s, the College is a wonderful example of Collegiate Gothic and features the 1929 Frohman, Robb, and Little Tudor-style dining room, the College Chapel, a peaceful garden in the cloistered courtyard, a library, and a business center. Guests of the College are invited to participate in worship servies at the Cathedral, to join one of the many tours of Cathedral art, architecture, and history, to explore the Bishops Garden and walking paths on the 59-acre Cathedral grounds, and to visit the Cathedral Greenhouse, the Herb Cottage gift shop, and to browse through the Museum Shop and Bookstore. The College is within minues driving time of National Airport, Union Station, the Smithsonian, and Capital Hill; within close proximity of historic Georgetown, the National Zoo, Washingtons Metro; and has direct acess to buses and cabs. It is fully air-conditioned and entirely non-smoking environment. | ||
